Broad Street is the centre of Birmingham’s nightlife with a huge assortment of pubs, clubs and bars. The Australian bar, Revolution and the Works are particularly popular and many offer student discounts.
Shopping
Bullring is the largest retail development in Europe and cost over £500 million to develop. It’s a magnificent building and and an amazing retail experience. There’s a variety of shops, including all the high street favourites from New Look to Next and Principles to Zara - and of course, Selfridges.


City life
Birmingham has undergone massive rejuvenation in recent years, and is now a prime example of successful city development. With all kinds of entertainment, shopping centres, art galleries and live music on offer, Birmingham caters for all tastes and interests.

According to the Guardian, Birmingham is now the third best place to shop in the country – and browsing around the designer shops at the Mailbox, you can see why. Harvey Nichols, Hugo Boss, Jaeger, Bang & Olufsen, Crabtree & Evelyn and DKNY are just a few outlets well worth a visit.
